Terms
These terms explain how to use Stryde responsibly as a learning product. Last updated May 10, 2026.
Using Stryde
Stryde is a learning tool for explanations, source discovery, flashcards, quizzes, and study planning.
You are responsible for how you use the app, including checking important answers against your course materials, teachers, official sources, or qualified professionals.
Features may change while the product is being improved, especially during beta and early launch periods.
Learning Use
The app is built to help explain topics, find sources, create flashcards, and structure revision. It is not a replacement for teachers, official course materials, or professional advice.
For medical, legal, financial, safety, or other high-stakes topics, use the app for general learning only and check official or qualified sources.
Do not submit AI-generated work as your own if your school, university, exam board, or workplace does not allow it.
AI Accuracy
AI-generated lessons can be wrong, incomplete, or based on sources that do not perfectly match your question. The app shows sources so you can check the claims.
If an answer looks strange, use the source feedback tools, ask for a simpler explanation, or check the linked source directly.
Accounts And Data
You are responsible for keeping your account access secure and for signing out on shared devices.
You can export account data and delete your account from the workspace account controls. Deleting an account removes the app account and associated saved workspace data, sessions, password reset records, and remembered source memory.
Some browser-local data may remain on your device until you clear browser storage or use the local workspace clear controls.
Source Content And Uploads
Source links belong to their original publishers. Stryde should cite and route you to those sources rather than replacing them.
Do not upload copyrighted, private, confidential, or restricted materials unless you have the right to use them in your own study workspace.
If you upload course materials, syllabuses, notes, PDFs, or files, you are responsible for making sure you are allowed to use them with the app.
Acceptable Use
Do not use Stryde to break laws, abuse services, bypass academic rules, generate harmful instructions, attack systems, or upload malware.
Do not try to overload the app, bypass rate limits, scrape the service, or interfere with other users.
The app may limit requests, block abusive behavior, or remove accounts that create risk for the product or other users.
Availability
Stryde may be unavailable during maintenance, provider outages, deployment changes, or local development issues.
The app depends on source providers, Supabase, optional AI providers, browser behavior, and network access. Those dependencies can fail or change outside the app's control.
