Launch trust
Terms
These terms explain how to use Stryde responsibly as a learning product. Last updated May 18, 2026.
Using Stryde
Stryde is a learning tool for explanations, source discovery, flashcards, quizzes, and study planning.
You are responsible for how you use the app, including checking important answers against your course materials, teachers, official sources, or qualified professionals.
Features may change while the product is being improved, especially during early launch periods.
Stryde does not guarantee grades, exam results, university admission, or professional outcomes.
Learning Use
The app is built to help explain topics, find sources, create flashcards, and structure revision. It is not a replacement for teachers, official course materials, or professional advice.
For medical, legal, financial, safety, or other high-stakes topics, use the app for general learning only and check official or qualified sources.
Do not submit AI-generated work as your own if your school, university, exam board, or workplace does not allow it.
AI Accuracy
AI-generated lessons can be wrong, incomplete, or based on sources that do not perfectly match your question. The app shows sources so you can check the claims.
If an answer looks strange, use the source feedback tools, ask for a simpler explanation, or check the linked source directly.
Past-paper and mark-scheme features are study aids. Always verify final wording, mark allocations, and exam rules against the official exam board or course provider.
Accounts And Data
You are responsible for keeping your account access secure and for signing out on shared devices.
You can export account data and delete your account from the workspace account controls. Deleting an account removes the app account and associated saved workspace data, sessions, password reset records, and remembered source memory.
Some browser-local data may remain on your device until you clear browser storage or use the local workspace clear controls.
Privacy Promise
Stryde does not sell personal data. We do not sell emails, uploaded notes, source history, lesson history, weak-topic data, AI prompts, or study profiles.
If Stryde introduces ads later, they must not use uploaded files, private lessons, or student profiles to build behavioural advertising profiles. Ads, sponsorships, or partnerships should be disclosed where they appear.
Stryde may use aggregated or anonymised product insights to improve source coverage, lesson quality, safety, and reliability, as long as individual users are not identified.
Source Content And Uploads
Source links belong to their original publishers. Stryde should cite and route you to those sources rather than replacing them.
Do not upload copyrighted, private, confidential, or restricted materials unless you have the right to use them in your own study workspace.
If you upload course materials, syllabuses, notes, PDFs, or files, you are responsible for making sure you are allowed to use them with the app.
You keep ownership of content you upload, but you give Stryde permission to process it so the product can extract text, create study materials, cite relevant passages, save your library, and provide related features.
Stryde may remove uploaded content, source entries, lessons, or accounts that appear to infringe rights, expose private information, or create legal or safety risk.
Copyright And Takedowns
Stryde aims to store source metadata, links, short snippets, and user-provided study material rather than copying whole third-party websites, textbooks, past papers, or mark schemes.
Past-paper links and source indexes are provided to help students find legitimate materials. Copyright remains with the original publisher or rights holder.
If you believe content in Stryde infringes your rights, contact hello@strydelearn.com with the source URL, the affected content, and enough information for us to review it.
Acceptable Use
Do not use Stryde to break laws, abuse services, bypass academic rules, generate harmful instructions, attack systems, or upload malware.
Do not try to overload the app, bypass rate limits, scrape the service, or interfere with other users.
The app may limit requests, block abusive behavior, or remove accounts that create risk for the product or other users.
Do not upload personal data about other people unless you have a legitimate study reason and permission to do so.
Availability
Stryde may be unavailable during maintenance, provider outages, deployment changes, or local development issues.
The app depends on source providers, Supabase, optional AI providers, browser behavior, and network access. Those dependencies can fail or change outside the app's control.
Limitation Of Responsibility
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Stryde is provided as a study product without promises that every answer, source, file import, lesson, quiz, or flashcard will be accurate, available, or suitable for your exact exam.
Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be removed in your location.
International Use
Stryde is operated from Azerbaijan and may be used by students in other countries. You are responsible for following rules that apply to you, your school, your exam board, and your location.
If local law gives you mandatory consumer, student, privacy, or data rights, these terms are not intended to take those rights away.
